I just managed to register by typing in the module codes rather than selecting from the list. The only problem I see is that they say that the application for registration will take 2 weeks to process. Previously it was immediate. I can't recall that I received the same message last semester?

Hey Guys,
Managed to register without any hassles (luckily).

Now I've noticed that one of the follow up modules I chose for a first level module I did previously has completely changed.
INF1511 used to be a delphi based language when I did it, now INF2611 is based on Python.

What now?

Hi

Manage to register; but it says "in progress" will be finalized after 2 weeks. Why not saying temporary registration? And the queue at Sunnyside campus is crazy

If you look on the main registration screen, it also says it will take 2 weeks to process.

registration.unisa.ac.za/info/

I think that for anyone making cash payments or EFT transfers or when the old manual registration system was operational, it would take 2 weeks to process. And if you have a problem with registration it can take a while to sort it out.

My registration was finalised immediately (paid deposit with credit card).

I paid the deposit (half of the study fees) with my credit card. It still shows in progress.

I think I'm going to stop stressing about it and only look at myUnisa again tomorrow.

Perhaps there have been delays today when registration opened. It seems like some students registration is finalised immediately and others takes a while to progress.

Good luck - hope it is finalised soon for you

@jurgens69 Python is free and open source and all the software you require you'll be able to download for free. I won't lie there will be a bit of a learning curve but it's not steep at all. Python is considered one of the easiest languages to learn and on the bright side Python has way more real world application than Delphi. Companies like Google actually use python on a daily basis. So kind of a blessing in disguise. Best of luck!

Hi guys

Just a quick question - if you have already registered for x-amount of subjects, can you amend your registration to add another subject?

Thanks
