Hi Guys,

Are any members of SNW going to be attending PLT next year in Cape Town (full time)?

If so, please reply to this thread as I would love to get in touch with fellow class mates.

Thanks

Hi,

What is this PLT all about?

I have just started doing my final year and I now need to look at doing articles etc..

Is this something I should be looking at?

Hi Dylene

I am doing PLT distance learning through UNISA - I would like to keep in touch because the actual content of the subjects is very vague. Do we get study guides, assignments, exams????

Hi there,

PLT is a 6 month course of practical legal training facilitated by the Law Society of South Africa. If completed successfully, then you would only need to do 1 year of articles instead of 2.
I would suggest that you apply for admission during your last semester of studies should you wish to go this route.

Hi Lynn,

Honestly, I myself am not entirely certain of the course itself but I have received correspondence stating that we will receive course material at registration.

Please e-mail me on ashley.dylene@gmail.com and we can keep each other in the loop once we start with our respective courses. Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Dylene
